MISSION OF THE COLLEGE

•  To impart access to education not only to the students of the upper class but also to the unprivileged and underprivileged classes of society.
• To impart quality education in all fields of Science and Arts
• To create a teaching-learning environment where the pursuit of higher knowledge, professional skills and prospective jobs can be made without discrimination of caste, colour and religion.
• To promote women’s empowerment by imparting equal opportunities for education and skill development to girls.

VISION OF THE COLLEGE

• To give its best in higher studies so that all the privileged and underprivileged gets ample opportunity to explore their potential in whatever field they are inclined towards.
•  To begin new courses as per the New Education Policy 2022 which lays focus on vocational courses like gardening, mushroom cultivation, repairing of technical items, fisheries, and computer application.
• To provide education to girls who get married at an early age or due to early pregnancy, divorce and many more societal restrictions are not able to study or have a break in their career can continue to fulfil their dreams and give a fresh start to their career.
•  When a girl is educated the whole society is educated.
• Boys who wish to do training courses can do so by selecting Brij Behari Sahai Degree College as their first choice.

• Incorporate extracurricular activities such as sports/cultural programmes into the academic calendar.
•  Incorporate individual learning and training programmes formulated to the needs of the students in the present world of globalization.
• Provide knowledge and practical training in yoga and meditation to help the students maintain sound mental health.
• Run professional courses/ Add-on courses on computers, English speaking and Personality development at affordable fees to make them eligible for employment.
•  Provide a healthy environment for creativity, innovation and research.
• Provide the latest knowledge of the subjects of different disciplines by the organization of Seminars/ Conferences/ Guest Lectures. For effective curriculum delivery and transaction on the Curriculum, the following initiatives have been taken up:
•  Teachers are trained to use ICT technology, such as Xerox Machines, TV, VCR, Audio Players, Multimedia Projectors, Smart Boards and Multimedia CDs for effective curriculum delivery and transaction on the curriculum.
•  To meet the demands of the curriculum of computer & IT related courses, the college has well-equipped computer lab smart classrooms with the latest configuration.
•  The college organizes conferences, seminars, symposia and meetings etc. to meet the needs of curriculum delivery on a regular interval during every academic session.
•  Students are properly guided & encouraged to visit the library for their knowledge up-gradation. The richly-stacked college library has above 5,000 books and 20 Newspapers and 25 magazines are available for the general readers/ visitors of the Library. In addition to this, students of the college are also taken to visit other well-known libraries to upgrade their knowledge in different subjects.
